Nice work, thanks but I have some comments for you.

Your demo seems to crash FireFox 3.

Also, I cant get it to work on my page, I just get a red question mark when I upload.

And, why do I have to "Upload" then "Submit" ... cant it have the same button to do both as its a bit of a confusing interface.

Do you have any documentation for possible options?
  • arjan · 1 year ago
what is the submit button for down the screen and why does it only select image files ?? i can't find where to change that setting (if it's possible anyway) i know you can select other files by opening *.* but thats not the right way i think :S

    help me please.

Hey there, this is a fantastic script but it doesn't seem to be working if you try and upload from a Mac. It will let you browse but not select any files. Any suggestions on a work around?
  • happy · 1 year ago
is there a file limit for the upload? ie, can the user upload a file 2gb or higher?
  • admin · 1 year ago
    @HAPPY

    Thanks for comment.

I haven't set any limit on file size. U can change it from the server side script(php). And also u have to set ur server maximum limit for upload.

Hello! May be you can give me source-code of your Flash multiple file uploader??
  • ikkeugh · 1 year ago
    Hello-
Could you also let it accept every extension ?
( and could you send me the source file ?)
    ( it doesn't upload a thing with me !!!)
  • Abs · 1 year ago
SWEET! Would it be possible for you to make migration to AS3 top priority? :)

I downloaded the Flash multiple file uploader, and it looks great, but it won't let me upload anything. I can browse fine, but the "select" button is never enabled. I am using a Mac with both Safari and FireFox, neither of which will work. Any suggestions?

Thx for the nice flash soft, but I have some questions:

    - What's the meaning of the submit button (between submit and upload). I don't understand.
    - When do you think the second version is ready? Because I need to pass parameters.

    Thx,
    Gert

its not working for me, the images are uploaded in theory but it never calls the uploadUrl
  • daroc · 10 months ago
There is no information about license. Is it free for commercial use?
I have unzipped the archive to my disk and run (on my apache+php5@vista server) but no files were uploaded despite flash said it's been uploaded. (no directory nor file was created in "./upload").

This would be absolutely perfect if it supported drag and drop from the client system, and FTP protocol. Any chance you'll be adding this? Can this be added?

    Thanks...

Is it possible to change the language to French?

Will this be affected by the new security updates in Flash 10?

Are the Custom interface setting and Support for all Browser feature up and running yet?
  • Abinidi · 4 months ago
Does this download actually work, or is it just for demo purposes? I downloaded the above link, uploaded it to server, set 'upload' folder for write permissions. It shows in the flash interface the green checkmark, but no file is uploaded.

"Custom javascript function can be used after upload files" but how ?

Suggestions (based on what i need and hope somebody else too)

JavaScript events: onItemSelected (that returns the id and the filename as parameters), onSelect (when you select file(s), not on the list), onStartUpload, onFinishUpload, onProgress, onMsg or OnError

Ability to get the number of elements (even the number of selected items)
    Customizing the texts/colors/icons

    Preview of images

    Nice work btw :)
